Policy & Procedures

We aim to offer a calming retreat and relaxing environment while receiving enhanced clinically proven skin care treatments. With all respect, we kindly request our guests to observe our Spa Policies.

Appointments

We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we highly recommend you make reservations in advance. You may email us (info@skinandtherapy.com), or text 305-930-9826 to schedule an appointment. A representative from the Spa will contact you to confirm your appointment within one day. Any information you provide on our site will not be sold or disclosed to any outside party.

Cash or a major credit card is required to hold all reservations. A credit card “HOLD” transaction may be made on your credit card to reserve the appointment time.

In order to preserve the peaceful and tranquil experience that our guest have come to expect and to comply with insurance guidelines, you must be at least 12 years old to be on the premises of Skin and Therapy Day Spa. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Cancellation & No-Shows

Your appointments are very important to the members of Skin and Therapy Day Spa, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

STRICT AND ENFORCED 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY!

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply.

  • Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
  • Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • Any multiple services or combos must be held with a credit card. Multiple services or combos not canceled 24hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. 

The cancellation policy allows us time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our Skin and Therapy team members’ schedule filled, thus better serving everyone. 

EMAIL & SMS CONFIRMATIONS 

As a courtesy, we will both email and send sms text confirms about your service appointments two business days prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you, and can only leave a message, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.

CHECK IN

Please plan to arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to fill any missing required forms. To receive full value of your service, please arrive promptly. Late arrivals will result in a shortened appointment so the next guest will not be delayed, and you will still be charged for the full appointment time. If you are scheduled for a facial, we encourage you to not wear make-up prior to your service. Please let us know if you are wearing contact lenses, as well as if you are using skin medications such as retinol or accutane before starting your treatment.

Restrictions

To truly engage and receive the best pampering possible we would like to suggest that you please turn your cell phone off or on silent while in the Spa. Also as a reminder, appointments should be attended without the company of children or others not receiving a service.

We will not be responsible for the loss or damage of your personal items. 

COVID-19

Our team at Skin and Therapy Day Spa exceeds county, state, and CDC regulations pertaining too sanitation and hygiene. We have added additional time between appointments to fully sanitize all treatment areas in between each service. We fully sanitize the front desk and check-out areas, including the POS system, and clipboards before and after each service. If you are sick or have been in close contact with anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 10 days we ask that you please contact our front desk staff immediately to reschedule your appointment.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please feel free to reach out to any of our team members at info@skinandtherapy.com. Product returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Unopened products will be refunded to the original form of payment. Opened products will be refunded to store credit only. Returns after 30 days from purchase will not be accepted.
